Who are Reviews.io?

We spoke to Giles Eida, Global Director of Partnerships at REVIEWS.io about how online sellers could benefit from their solution: 
We all know customer reviews build trust, how does that translate into conversion rates?
By running various studies we have found that customers who view reviews/UGC are 4 x more likely to convert, as well as having a 28% higher average order value. The authenticity of the content and the opportunity for customers to get real insight into the attributes of a product, has a hugely positive impact. 
How do you work with sellers to manage fake or unfair reviews?
By making sure that fake or unfair reviews aren’t displayed. We encourage our merchants to use verified reviews from real customers. Following best practice, we have a moderation process that is done by an individual in our support team, making sure that there is consistency and fairness. For those reviews that are negative but from real customers, we encourage merchants to use it as an opportunity to connect in their customer success team, investigating the negative experience. Customers are 5 x more likely to look at a 1 star review than a 5 star. So show authenticity and that if things do go wrong, you support the customer and work hard to put it right.
